02 How To Claim

Link Twitch to your RSI account

One-time setup — via Connect Account on RSI, or Twitch Settings → Connections. Do this before you start watching; drops don't retroactively count.

Watch my stream

Drop by while I'm live and streaming Star Citizen — that's 4 hours total, doesn't need to be one sitting. (Any drops-enabled SC stream counts toward the reward, but I'd rather have the company.)

Subscribe for the second reward

Subbing to my channel during the window unlocks the Banu Lockbox Replica separately from the watch-time drop.

Claim before the campaign ends

Head to twitch.tv/drops/inventory and claim manually. Unclaimed drops expire when the campaign closes on Aug 12.

03 Q&A

Does every stream count, or just certain ones?

Only streams tagged Drops Enabled — the streamer has to opt in. Any Star Citizen stream carrying that tag counts toward both rewards, not just official channels.

How do I know my watch time is actually counting?

Check the Drops Inventory tab on Twitch while logged in — progress fills automatically as you watch. When a goal's complete, hit Claim there.

Do I need Prime Gaming or Amazon Luna?

No. A regular Twitch account linked to your RSI account is all you need — no subscriptions or extra services required to earn the watch-time drop.

Does a Prime sub or renewal unlock the lockbox?

No — Prime subs, renewals, and sub tokens don't count. It has to be a new recurring or gift sub to a participating streamer during the window.

Can I unlink or switch my Twitch account?

Yes, anytime, from RSI Account Settings → Linked Accounts. Only one Twitch account can be linked per RSI account at a time, so relinking just means repeating the connection step.
